Justin Mohn Beheads Father; Posts Video on YouTube
Justin Mohn, 32, was charged with murder, abuse of a corpse, and possession of instruments of crime in Pennsylvania after posting a video on YouTube where he displays his father's severed head and declares that he is now “in hell for eternity” before going on a long, unhinged political rant.
In the video, Justin declares himself “Commander of America’s national network of militias,” and calls for Federal employees to be killed on sight, or tortured for information before their public execution, while federal buildings are to be “sieged.”
The full video, which is available at the very end of this article for subscribers, also contains threats of bounties “of one million dollars alive or half a million dollars dead” on “FBI Director Chris Wray, Attorney General Merrick Garland, Ex Attorney General Bill Barr, and Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts,” as well as a bounty on the heads of “any and all Federal judges.”
The video remained on YouTube for hours to collect thousands of views despite how quickly YouTube has taken down news stories of public interest shared by Murder Pop, typically within minutes of posting.
In the video, Justin claims that many within both the Republican and Democratic political parties looked to him as the best possible candidate for president in the 2020 election, and claimed that John Hickenlooper, former governor of Colorado, and John Kasich, former governor of Ohio, could confirm this, and that their campaigns “were sacrificed for me”.
Mohn said he could have been “the first unanimously-elected candidate for both parties since George Washington,” adding, “But I was betrayed by the FBI, the federal courts, and my own family, because there are people who believe I am the messiah. This belief that I am the messiah is why you have never heard this story on the news, because it would spread that belief. I'm not saying I am the messiah, as I would never compare myself to Jesus Christ. I'm just saying, that's why I was betrayed.”
He ends by quoting the Bible at length, saying he had “a sacred task” ahead of him.
Justin was arrested in Fort Indiana Gap, PA about two hours from his family residence in Levvitown, PA, driving his father's car. Denice Mohn, the alleged killer's mother, reportedly called 911 to report that she discovered her husband's headless body, according to court documents obtained by LevvitownNow. His brother Zachary, 35, and his sister Stephanie, 38, are also reportedly residents of the home.
He claims that his father was a federal employee for 20 years; the press has reported that the father is believed to have owned two businesses (a cleaning company along with some kind of literacy initiative) neither of which appear to be linked to the federal government. Police recovered a large kitchen knife and a machete from the bathtub, after finding a head in a plastic bag in a cooking pot in a bedroom.
Justin was extremely active on social media, including books he had self published on Amazon, and music he published to Spotify, both of which remain available as of the time this was published.
In the summary for his America’s Coming Bloody Revolution, he compares himself to Thomas Paine, and Bloody Revolution to Common Sense.
He regularly posted to Reddit, as well as YouTube and Facebook, and had also sued the federal government multiple times because he was unable to secure employment after graduating from college on loans that the United States was guilty of “allowing him to borrow.”
He was pro se in these lawsuits, a Latin term meaning "on one's own behalf," indicating he did not have legal representation for these suits.
